Placement Student

§ Currently on an industrial placement in the Switching department for a year, where I am building a web front-end to a number of databases and Unix tools. The projects involve designing easy to use web pages to replace elements of exisitng dated UNIX interfaces. The web solutions offer easy access to formally dated UNIX Interfaces by reducing the number of tool interactions through automation. New solutions are built by combining output from a range of databases. and This inloves a parent to child relationship that requires writing Unix shell scripts with embedded SQL and Perl CGI scripts that .

Community activities Helped at local Cub Scout Unit meetings for several months.
